Former Google executive Jens Quadbeck becomes CSO at credit card fintech pliant

  • “With Jens Quadbeck's experience in FinTech, B2B sales and online marketing, we will strengthen our management team and successfully implement our strategy for the market launch of the pliant credit card" comments Malte Rau, Co-Founder & CEO of  pliant
  • Jens Quadbeck, former Google Lead EMEA for Sales & Operations, said, "There is a huge need for cheaper and better card solutions in the business market. pliant not only has a superior technological platform, it is also the first truly digital corporate credit card in the European market that can be easily and seamlessly integrated into companies' existing systems."
  • The corporate credit card from pliant also takes into account the completely new market requirements: while Corona is accelerating the digitalization of companies and marketplaces, corporate procurement is also changing with increasing demands on payment processing.

Berlin, 15th April 2021 FinTech pliant, recently launched as the first European VISA Infinite partner, is strengthening its management team witha notable new addition. Jens Quadbeck, former Google EMEA Lead for Sales Strategy & Operations and previously active in various sales roles inGermany and at the Dublin European headquarters, is now Chief Sales Officer at the Berlin-based corporate credit card specialist. He brings years of experience in building sales and channel partner teams in European markets.

Malte Rau, CEO and Co-Founder pliant, is pleased about the reinforcement of the team "With Jens Quadbeck's experience in finance, loyalty and online marketing we will successfully implement our strategy for the financial product pliant". And Malte Rau continues "Corona has not only dramatically accelerated digitalization in companies, but has also radically changed procurement, i.e.sourcing and purchasing. Of course, this is also reflected in payment processing. The digitization push means increased use of cloud services and SaaS products. And these are mostly paid for online and by card."

Jens Quadbeck comments on the market situation as the new Chief Sales Officer at pliant "In the homeoffice age, traditional, physical credit cards, which are often only provided centrally, are no longer sufficient for companies. Companies need flexible solutions with maximum control and transparency that simultaneously deliver high operational and monetary benefits." Key features of pliant include convenient user management, attractive payment terms including cashbacks, attractive availability limits and market-driven exchange rates. pliant can be integrated into existing systems and does not require the opening of a new bank account.
